We do not start writing until we have completed research and strategy. That is not how most copywriters work, but it is why our copy tends to perform differently.
Before anything is written, we spend time understanding the actual landscape. That means reading your competitor messaging, reviewing any customer feedback or sales call recordings you can share, looking at your existing copy to understand what the current narrative is and where it is not working, and studying your audience's language -- the specific words and phrases your buyers use when they describe their problem. This is not background reading. It is the foundation the copy is built on. Research quality directly determines copy quality, so we do not rush it.
Once research is complete, we write a strategy brief before touching the copy. The brief covers: the single most important message, the proof points that back it up, the objections we need to address and in what order, and the specific angle we are using for this particular audience at this particular stage of the buying journey. This stage involves the most judgment. We make decisions about what comes first, what gets cut, what needs the most space, and what can be said quickly. That brief is shared with you before writing begins, so there are no surprises in the first draft.
With research done and strategy confirmed, writing is relatively fast. We write the full first draft against the approved brief and then review it internally before sending anything. Headline and subject line testing variants are written alongside the main draft for any asset where A/B testing is practical. All copy is written by a senior writer on our team and reviewed by a second person before delivery. We do not produce drafts with generative tools -- every line is written and reviewed by a person.
Final copy is delivered in your preferred format -- Google Doc, Word, plain text, HTML, or structured CMS-ready text. Delivery includes a short document explaining key decisions made in the copy: why a particular headline angle was chosen, what the primary objection the email sequence is addressing, what the CTA logic is. For ongoing clients, we schedule a 30-day check-in to review any available performance data and discuss whether adjustments are warranted.
All windows are from the date the completed brief is confirmed. The Priority Review add-on reduces the window to 48 hours on any package.
Build your package and we will send the intake form. From there, the process runs on its own.
