Based in Wilmington, Ohio. Every project starts with research and a strategic brief before any writing happens. That is the whole model.
The Marketing Copywriting Lab was built on a simple observation: most agency copywriting fails not because the writing is bad but because the strategy behind it is wrong. Headlines that do not match the reader's actual concern. Email sequences written for an imaginary customer profile. Landing pages that sell the product instead of solving the problem.
We fix that by treating copywriting as a research discipline first. Before we write anything, we study your customers, your market, and your existing messaging. We find the gaps, the friction points, and the angles that are not being used. Then we write copy that is built on that foundation.
Based in Wilmington, Ohio. All writing is done by our in-house team. We do not freelance projects out, and we do not use generative AI to produce copy for clients.
We do not start writing until we understand the audience, the competitive context, and what the existing messaging is doing well or poorly.
Every copy decision -- what comes first, what is cut, what gets expanded -- is made against a clear strategic rationale, not instinct.
Every word is written by a person who has read the brief and done the research. We do not produce drafts with generative tools.
The brief process takes about 20 minutes. From there, we do the work.
